You will work directly with the founders and the development team to shape the product’s direction and future. AI is one of the backbones of our solution, and we will continuously add new data and AI-driven features, meaning you’ll encounter a diverse range of challenges that will keep you on your toes. Your Role
As a founding engineer, you’ll be a core part of the engineering team, taking ownership of all things related to data and AI. With continuous additions of new data and AI-infused features, you’ll face a variety of challenges that will keep you on your toes. Key responsibilities include:
- Data Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure using Python and relevant frameworks.
- Optimize LLM Performance: Test, implement, and enhance existing LLM models while building new capabilities. Collaborate with LLM analytics tools and experts in the field.
- Feature Development: Take ownership of developing new AI and data-related features.
- Product Influence: Work closely with the founders and the development team to shape the product’s direction and future, particularly around AI and data.
What Sets You Apart

- Engineering Experience: Strong software and data engineering skills with 2+ years of hands-on experience building data solutions.
- Engineering Mindset: Proactively tackle complex technical problems and craft robust, reliable solutions.
- AI Enthusiast: Practical experience integrating AI or machine learning models into software solutions.
- Python Proficiency: Comfortable using Python to build data processing pipelines and implement AI solutions.
- Growth-Oriented: Passionate about learning new skills and tackling technical challenges.
- Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Dutch.
- Bonus Skills:Experience with Large Language Models (LLM), fine-tuning, and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Ably, AMQP).
- Experience with cloud solutions like AWS and Azure.
